Indien u eigenaar of vruchtgebruiker bent van in Zwitserland gelegen onroerend goed, moet u ieder jaar in Zwitserland aangifte doen van in ieder geval de inkomsten en het vermogen, voor zover Zwitserland bevoegd is over dit inkomen en vermogen belasting te heffen. Wanneer u inwoner bent van Nederland, bent u in Zwitserland beperkt belastingplichtig.

Time for hotels to start building their own online audiences?

As Google moves from a factual database of everything to more of a predictive user intent result provider, it will most likely not rely on billions of web pages to serve searches like “downtown Sand Diego hotel.” Time for hotel marketers to start looking for opportunities to keep your guest away from Google and other third party traffic.
With last year’s Google “Hummingbird Update”, the results a guest wanted when he/she typed something in the search box may quickly flit away in an educated guess on what the guest was really searching for.

WTM: Video blogging und die Zukunft zur Erstellung von Reise-Content

Im Rahmen des WTM Seminar Programms gab es am Mittwoch, 5.11.2014, eine Travel Bloggers Unite Session zum Thema Video Blogging. Mit 2 PR Vertretern und 2 sogenannten „Vloggern“ wurde eine gute Übersicht zum Thema geboten. Eine interessante Sichtweise bot Jody Diamond von Diamond PR, die in den Vereinigten Staaten tätig ist und schon seit 7 Jahren mit Video Bloggern zusammen arbeitet. Ihre Vlogger bearbeiten Filme direkt vor Ort und beenden ihre Reise mit einem Screening für lokale Tourismusverbände, die dann aktiv und mit Begeisterung die Bewerbung unterstützen.

Cleartrip sees mobile used for future and instant hotel stays

Cleartrip is seeing levels of growth from mobile bookings for its hotel content which reinforces the importance of the channel for Indian consumers.
In the second edition of its Quarterly Insights, it reported a 90%+ increase in mobile transactions for hotels over the past quarter. Conversion rates are now “almost similar” to desktop rates, it added, getting to that level within nine months of launch.
Overall, mobile over the past quarter was its best ever across the key metrics of traffic, transactions and revenue – transactions grew 168% YoY and 69% QoQ (vs Q1 14). Mobile now pulls in 43% of overall traffic and accounts for 30% of transactions.

The state of social media travelers

Social media has become the epicenter of travel as more and more people are connecting through their smartphones and tablets. However, social media in retrospect is used quite differently around the world. And with travelers flying internationally, we take a look at how social media is used, the percentage of travelers who use social networks, and the types of travel-related social media activities.
Even though the vast majority of travelers that are active on social media, at least monthly, come from China (98%) followed by U.S. (82%), social is still a large outlet for travelers from the U.S. With information and analytics done by PhoCusWright’s The State of Social Media in Travel, we were able to really learn how the U.S. excels in both social media sharing and research activities.
